Slovak midibus manufacturer using the Iveco Daily chassis

Rosero (Rošero‑P s.r.o.) is a Slovak bus manufacturer based in Spišská Nová Ves that has been producing midibuses since 1995 and has been building them on the Iveco Daily 70C chassis since 2006. The Rosero First line is designed for tour, city, regional, and school transportation, with 12 to 36 seats and standing room, available with a diesel engine, CNG engine, or fully electric powertrain. The body is constructed entirely of stainless steel. AB-BC B.V. in Hoogerheide is a partner in Rosero Distribution and thus serves as the Dutch point of contact for delivery, inspection, maintenance, and parts.

While many mid-size buses are built on a light-duty van chassis, Rosero opts for a stainless steel frame. It weighs more, but it doesn’t rust away in areas exposed to road salt and water from passengers getting on and off. For transport companies that keep a bus for ten years or longer, that’s the difference between giving it a second life and writing it off.

One bus, multiple modes of transportation

The layout determines what the bus is suitable for: the number of seats, the number of standing spaces, the location of the doors, and the height of the entrance. Tell us what type of service you operate, and we’ll match it with the appropriate model.

Touring Transportation

Private transportation, day trips, and multi-day trips. Comfortable seats with three-point seat belts, luggage racks, and heating.

City and Regional Transit

High passenger throughput with standing room, electric doors, entry lighting, and handrails throughout the bus.

School Transportation

Spacious layout with a seat for the attendant, a microphone, lighting in the headliner, and a floor with non-slip carpet.

Wheelchair Transportation

Wheelchair and stroller spaces with a ramp or electric lift, depending on the selected layout.

Zero-Emission Zones

The all-electric version produces zero emissions and therefore has access everywhere.

Rosero, Short and to the Point

What is a Rosero midibus?
A Rosero midibus is a bus built by the Slovak manufacturer Rošero‑P on an Iveco Daily 70C chassis, with a body made entirely of stainless steel. The First series is designed for tour transportation, city and regional transit, and school transportation, with 12 to 36 seats and standing room. The maximum gross vehicle weight is 7,200 kg.
Yes. AB-BC in Hoogerheide has a Rosero that Elinta has converted to fully electric: an Elinta central drive e-driveline with 160 kW of power and 1,160 Nm of torque, and a 168 kWh battery capacity distributed across 3+1 battery packs. This allows the bus to operate with zero emissions, granting it access to environmental zones and zero-emission zones. According to the manufacturer, the city and regional models can also be built with either a CNG engine or an electric powertrain.
Between 12 and 36 seated and standing passenger spaces, depending on the layout. A school model is at the upper end of that range, a touring model with comfort seats is at the lower end, and a city model achieves the highest total capacity by including standing passenger spaces. All layouts can be customized upon request.
Yes. Depending on the layout, there may be one or two spaces for wheelchairs and strollers, with either a manual ramp or an electric wheelchair lift. Please specify how many spaces you need when you submit your request.
Stainless steel does not rust in the areas where buses typically experience problems: the step area, the door posts, and the bottom of the side walls. This makes the bus heavier than a bonded aluminum construction, but it significantly extends its service life. For transit operators who keep a bus for ten years or longer—or who plan to resell it afterward—this benefit outweighs the extra weight.

That depends on the model and production capacity at the factory, which produces approximately 200 buses per year. If we have a suitable bus in stock at our Hoogerheide facility, delivery—once the vehicle has been registered and inspected—is a matter of days. Please inquire about the current delivery time.

Yes. AB-BC B.V. is RDW-certified under number 44952 and handles license plates, vehicle inspections, and registration. We also arrange transit license plates for export ourselves. For maintenance and repairs, AB-BC has its own workshop at Middenweg 25 in Hoogerheide.
